Since qualifying as a nurse, I have continued to develop my skills and knowledge, practicing research-based care. I have developed my role with experience as an autonomous practitioner utilising my Nonmedical Prescriber qualification and Clinical Assessment skills.

For the past 5 years I have worked as an expert witness after undertaking foundation training. I have a 60/40 Claimant/Defendant split. I have attended case conferences and have been an Expert Witness to NMC panel in Fitness to Practice cases. I am aware and fully comply with CPR 35 rules.

I am flexible, adaptable, approachable and have an holistic and humanistic approach. I am a professional person have an awareness of my own limitation's and strive to work with the wider multidisciplinary team.

I have been a Queens Nurse for several years and am active in the QNI community and look forward to developing my role further within this to enhance my practice and that of the wider community.
