Sharon Howard

With over 26 years of nursing experience, I maintain exceptional standards of care whilst working under pressure in a busy and challenging setting. Currently working as a Lead Nurse in Children’s Accident & Emergency, a busy, fast environment, I provide senior professional and clinical leadership to the children’s Department while also able to take Senior lead nurse for the main emergency department managing a larger team, patient journeys and completing audits.

As a Lead Children’s Nurse my role involves delivering the Trust’s workforce strategy, to ensure patients receive expert care and management appropriate to their needs, so that they can live their life as fully as possible.

I act as a role model and expert resource to the multi-professional team, supporting further education and training of the MDT.
