A highly skilled, astute, innovative cardiovascular nurse, regularly performing cardiology clinical patient consultations and leading multi-disciplinary team meetings, discussing and agreeing appropriate treatment pathways for cardiology patients with several co morbidities.

Responsible for the setting up of a cariology clinical trials service over the last ten years, opening and implementing over 60 clinical trials. Utilising my extensive experience of senior leadership at a divisional level within the NHS, across various services, stakeholder groups, all members of the multi-disciplinary team, introduction of change through service development, project management, patient groups and education, successful strategic business and grant applications for additional training, space, equipment and staff.

Write, advise and manage applications for Integrated Research Approval System (IRAS) for ethics approval. Work with the governance team to identify areas of practice requiring further development, in order to improve patient care and service provision. Commercially aware and able to offer patient clinical trial participation if condition fulfils all aspects of inclusion criteria.
