About Jennifer Vittanuova

With over 24 years of nursing experience, I am a highly qualified Nurse Prescriber specialising in medical aesthetics and cosmetic surgery. For the past 14 years, I have successfully run my own medical aesthetics clinics in Yorkshire and Harley Street, London, offering a range of non-surgical treatments and providing expert care to a wide array of clients. Additionally, I established and managed a medical aesthetics clinic in Dubai for two years, gaining valuable international experience in medical aesthetics and patient care within diverse regulatory frameworks. I am a proud member of the British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses (BAMAN) and recently had the privilege of speaking at their annual conference on the importance of clinical note-taking in medical aesthetics. This further reflects my commitment to upholding the highest standards of practice in the medical aesthetics industry. My extensive background includes working with the top five cosmetic surgery hospitals in the private sector, where I developed significant expertise in both cosmetic surgery and non-surgical aesthetic procedures. Within the NHS, I have held key roles in specialised areas such as head and neck surgery (Maxillofacial and ENT), as well as breast and bowel surgery. I have also served as a wound care nurse and as a Nurse Practitioner in general practice, managing a broad range of patient needs in primary care. As an Expert Witness, I bring a comprehensive understanding of both clinical and aesthetic practices. My diverse experience allows me to provide authoritative, detailed insights in cases involving medical aesthetics, cosmetic surgery, wound care, and general nursing practice. My commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence informs my expert evaluations and testimony.
